Georgian Door Irish Linen Cushion
The Georgian Door Irish Linen Cushion pays tribute to Dublin’s many and varied Georgian doors throughout the city. No two doorways are the same, with a wide variety of designs and colours. The small, square accent cushion displays one beautiful doorway.

By Deborah Toner
Belfast designer Deborah Toner produces a range of Irish linen products including cushions, wall mounts and gift cards displaying the most well-known landmarks of Ireland using ‘architectural embroidery’. Her designs feature the Belfast Skyline, Dublin Skyline, the Belfast Cranes, Belfast City Hall and Dublin’s Georgian Doors, amongst many more.
These individually designed, machine stitched and handmade pieces are all made using the finest quality Irish Linen made in Dungiven, Northern Ireland. These pieces are ideal for wedding presents, new home gifts and for people who like something a little bit different. In fact two architecturally embroidered cushions were presented to The Queen on her official visit to Belfast in 2014, making Deborah’s products fit for royalty!
A Master of Architecture graduate, Deborah’s work allows her to marry her love of both architecture and textiles. Her ethos takes the idea of structured and architectural patterns, like maps and skylines and through embroidery creates soft and tactile products. The original work began with a series of machine stitched maps showing the pattern change of Belfast and Deborah has since designed a full range of designs and products.
